Steve Hackett
Steve Hackett is a legendary progressive rock guitarist and composer, best known as the lead guitarist of Genesis during their classic line-up with Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford. His playing shaped iconic albums such as 'Selling England by the Pound', from the delicate acoustic 'Horizons' to the soaring solo in 'Firth of Fifth'. A pioneer of the tapping technique, Hackett blends rock with classical, jazz, blues and world music, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Genesis in 2010.
His solo career includes the hit single 'Cell 151', the supergroup GTR with Steve Howe, the Squackett project with Chris Squire of Yes and acclaimed albums such as 'Under A Mediterranean Sky' and 'Surrender Of Silence'. With his celebrated Genesis Revisited tours, combining Genesis classics and solo highlights, Steve Hackett continues to play to enthusiastic audiences around the world.
