British symphonic prog rock
Big Big Train
Big Big Train blends modern progressive rock with influences from British folk and history, giving their music a warm, narrative-driven and at times nostalgic character. Their storytelling compositions and strong sense of artistic presentation have established them as a highly respected name in the progressive rock scene, admired for their atmospheric arrangements and richly immersive listening experiences.
Since lead vocalist Alberto Bravin joined the band in 2022, the award-winning progressive rock group has performed nearly 60 shows around the world. They have also co-headlined the prestigious Cruise To The Edge and appeared at a variety of festivals across the UK and Europe.
Alongside Bravin and founder Gregory Spawton, the band features an impressive line-up: drummer Nick D’Virgilio, guitarist/keyboardist Rikard Sjöblom, violinist Clare Lindley, keyboardist Oskar Holldorff and trumpeter Paul Mitchell. Collectively, the musicians have worked with or gained experience in bands and projects including Genesis, Steve Hackett, PFM, Tears For Fears, Mr. Big, Spock’s Beard, Beardfish, Stackridge and Dim Gray.
